ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for managing the IT contract life cycle, which includes changes, modifications, and enforcement of performance clauses, including incentives and remedies. Acts as the key contact and subject-matter expert for all IT contract-related and tender activities. This includes assisting with negotiating contract terms, conditions, modifications, incentives, and remedies, while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met. Additionally, this position administers the contract execution process, resolving problems, mitigating delays, assisting with audits, mediating disputes, and escalating issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Introduce a robust and standardized IT contracts performance management program that aligns with business objectives to deliver results.
  • Develop a structured vendor performance management framework to implement consistency across your IT contracts portfolio.
  • Establish and communicate clear and concise IT contracts performance management metrics by creating effective IT contracts management scorecards and dashboards.
  • Design and develop standardized IT contracts performance reporting scorecards and dashboards.
  • Create and issue satisfaction surveys that encompass both internal and IT contracts 360-degree feedback, and act on concerns.
  • Demonstrate a clear line of sight from business objectives to IT contracts performance management metrics when creating reports.
  • Define the contractual performance levels and assist in setting internal customer expectations for performance.
  • Monitor and report performance results to all levels in the organization, as appropriate, and adjust the format, detail, and content of your results for different stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate how IT contracts consistently meet performance metrics. When they don't, effective performance management drives performance corrections and improvements.
  • Review and report that business needs are assessed effectively. Performance metrics (SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs) are developed and in alignment with those business needs and are negotiated with providers.
  • Service and operating levels meet and/or support business requirements.
  • Incidents are solved for all service providers within the SLA or KPI parameters.
  • Risks and issues are successfully escalated up the IT contracts chain to get the desired result.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

A bachelor's degree is typically required, preferably in an analytical field (such as general business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics or finance). Three to five years of experience highly preferred in IT contracts.
