Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

The
Maintenance Technician
will perform maintenance, repair, and rebuild functions on a wide range of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on pump systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with welding and cutting, solid troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild various pump systems (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, etc.)
• Conduct welding and cutting operations (MIG, TIG, stick) for equipment repair and fabrication
• Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and support operational goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work assigned 1st or 2nd shifts and be available for required overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of pump systems, including repair, rebuild, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in welding and cutting (MIG, TIG, stick) with proper safety practices
• Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and workplace organization
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
