Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and executing repairs across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, supporting our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, switches, wiring, valves, and piping with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated equipment for optimal performance.
- Conduct welding repairs on metal structures or parts as needed to ensure safety and durability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with residential painting projects or facility upgrades to improve overall aesthetics and functionality.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production schedules by ensuring equipment reliability.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently while working with electrical systems or heavy machinery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform metal repairs effectively.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and understanding of electrical codes.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide team efforts efficiently.

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
