• PRN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (OTA)

Peachtree Centre is a 111-bed skilled nursing facility in Gaffney, SC, featuring 30 short-term rehab beds, outpatient services, and a state-of-the-art therapy gym designed for community reintegration and functional recovery.
Located just 40 minutes from Charlotte, NC, and 30 minutes from Spartanburg, SC, Peachtree offers a supportive, collaborative in-house therapy department under excellent leadership.

• Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with the Occupational Therapist's established plan of care.

• Assist the OT with evaluations, testing procedures, and complex treatment activities.
• Observe, record, and report resident responses, functional changes, and concerns to the supervising OT.
• Document daily treatment notes and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with resident, family, physician, and interdisciplinary team communication as needed.
• Help maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, organized treatment space.
• Participate in in-service training, staff meetings, and care conferences.
• Maintain professional competence through relevant continuing education.
• Follow all professional, regulatory, and facility standards, including HIPAA and reimbursement guidelines.
• Contribute to facility quality improvement initiatives and safety programs.
• Perform additional tasks as requested to support exceptional resident care.
• Maintain expected productivity requirements and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active South Carolina OTA license (or eligibility)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
