Plumbing Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Supervisor to lead and oversee plumbing projects within commercial and industrial construction environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams on-site. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. The Plumbing Supervisor will play a critical role in project planning, execution, and troubleshooting to meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of plumbing systems.
• Estimate project costs and materials using construction estimating techniques.
• Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently.
• Manage field service operations including troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Lead and train team members in proper techniques for pipe installation, remodeling, maintenance, and system testing.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety adherence.
• Assist in remodeling or renovation projects involving plumbing systems.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining productivity standards.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, HVAC integration, and mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other relevant machinery.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Mechanical knowledge applicable to maintenance, assembly, remodeling, and field service operations.
• Experience with carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus for versatile project support.
• Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks on-site.
• Valid commercial driving license is advantageous for site travel or material transport needs.
• Basic math skills for measurements, estimations, and calculations related to project specifications. Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per year
