Responsibilities- Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Permitting and Compliance: Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
- Technical Reports: Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
- Field Support: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
- Licensing: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Currently, CME Associates provides a complete range of Environmental, Geotechnical, Engineering, Surveying, and Planning services and has represented both the public and private sectors on a wide range of projects and, specifically, projects relating to the environment, including water and wastewater treatment facilities and pipelines; wastewater and potable water master plans; water resources and treatment, storage and conveyance facilities; surface and groundwater monitoring; landfills; recycling facilities implementation plans; environmental impact statements; highway and roadway construction; large residential and commercial development projects, and major capital construction projects.
