TheFutureSocietyLLC is a rapidly growing membership-based platform offering spiritual, educational, and community-driven experiences. We're scaling our digital infrastructure and seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to support critical billing, authentication, and membership systems.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Stripe and Supabase to audit our current setup and stabilize our membership architecture. You will be responsible for repairing, optimizing, and implementing backend logic to ensure seamless billing, subscription handling, authentication flows, and user access.

This is an urgent, high-priority role with immediate start. Strong performance may lead to a long-term monthly retainer.

What You'll Do

Stripe & Billing

• Configure correct product structures (monthly, annual, upsells, add-ons)
• Ensure upsells/add-ons attach to existing subscriptions and bill on the same cycle
• Prevent users from losing base plans during upgrades
• Support one-time purchases and member vs. non-member pricing

Supabase & Backend

• Use our updated schema to support multiple concurrent products
• Sync Stripe subscriptions with Supabase profiles
• Fix cases where paid members show as free
• Resolve authentication issues (password resets, magic links)

General Engineering

• Stabilize and finalize the platform
• Implement secure, scalable backend logic
• Write clean, documented code
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance

Requirements

• 5+ years full stack development experience
• Expert-level Stripe (Billing, Subscriptions, Checkout, Customer Portal, Webhooks)
• Strong Supabase (RLS, auth, triggers, Postgres functions, schema design)
• Skilled in TypeScript
• Deep understanding of subscription SaaS architecture
• High attention to detail — no billing errors
• Strong communicator, able to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with or similar frameworks
• Background in fast-paced startups
• Familiarity with digital membership platforms
• Multi-product system integration experience
