NOTICE OF VACANCY Speech-Language PathologistTANTASQUA REGIONAL JUNIOR & SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS SY Anticipated Start Date: January 5, 2026Salary Range: $58, ,576.00REPORTS TO: PrincipalsRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with identified communication disorders to support access to curriculum and promote academic success.Reduce or remediate speech, language, and hearing impairments that interfere with learning by implementing evidence-based interventions.Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations.Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives for students requiring communication services.Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support students communication needs across settings.Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with district and state requirements.Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions regarding eligibility, service delivery, and student progress.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serves as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for language, oral and/or assisted communication and speech/language. Maintains efficient records, including the preparation of reports as required by local and district policy.ABILITY TO: Communicate effectively with teachers, students, administration, parents/guardians, doctors, and other professionals in the community who are involved with the students. Solve practical problems with students and staff.Understand and carry out oral and written directions.Identify, analyze, solve and organize work to meet deadlines.
