A Rare Opportunity to Join the Premier Hospitality Sales & Marketing Team in Western New York:
Western New York's Premier Wedding Venues, The Timberlodge and The Sterling , present a rare opportunity to join its celebrated Sales & Marketing Team as Sales Coordinator. Under the direct leadership of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Coordinator provides support activities designed to deliver luxury refined wedding and event opportunities to a discerning audience.
A sampling of support activities within the Sales & Marketing Division:
- Assisting with the realization of elevated weddings, bridal shows, in- house events, etc...
- Assisting with Sales Lead Management in accordance with established Best Practices
- Responsible for the proper facilitation of Wedding and Event Documents and Contracts
- Collect Deposits and Payments
- Assists with the projection of the Brand Voice, through Social Media, Collateral, and other mediums, as directed
- Day to day administration duties, as assigned
- Client/Vendor Communication
- Assists with Market Research and other brand positioning activities, as assigned

Is well-written and well-spoken, seeking out opportunities to engage clients in support of the company brand. An ambassador mindset is required to achieve celebrated success.
The duties of the position are aligned with an educational background of those who have earned an Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree in a related field. Related related professional work experience may be an appropriate substitution for the educational preference. Such professional work would be in sales or as a service person either in a restaurant or catering company.
This Service Champion must have superior customer service talents that are natural and learned. To find success with the administration duties of the position, a candidate must have excellent organizational skills; strong math skills and the ability to prioritize work, multitask and be detail-oriented. As this is a small but elite division, the ability to operate with relative autonomy under minimal supervision is required. The optimal candidate must be comfortable operating under tight deadlines, while maintaining strong interpersonal and team skills. Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as required. An attractive personality and polished image are critical for client engagement. Knowledge of gourmet foods and terminology is an advantage.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift/carry 25 to 30 pounds. Understanding of internet technology; some technical A/V knowledge and digital photography helpful. Computer proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior experience with Google Professional Products a plus. Work within a demanding fast-paced environment with very high standards. Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the brand.
