At Brightwater, we believe that a clean and efficient kitchen is the foundation of a great dining experience. As our Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant, you'll be a key player in ensuring residents, guests, and staff have a well-organized and sanitary kitchen where high-quality meals are prepared and served with care.

?? Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
?? Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, keeping everything organized and ready for use.
?? Assist with food prep and table setup, supporting the kitchen team as needed.
?? Ensure compliance with sanitation and health standards, keeping cleaning solutions up to code.
?? Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash throughout your shift.
?? Troubleshoot dishwasher malfunctions and report maintenance needs.
?? Help bus tables and reset dining areas, ensuring a smooth meal service.
?? Communicate effectively with team members, supporting a collaborative kitchen environment.

?? Strong work ethic & attention to cleanliness—you take pride in keeping things spotless
?? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying efficient and organized.
?? Current Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain).
?? Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
?? Physical stamina—able to lift trays, carry supplies, and work in a busy kitchen.
?? Meet state or provincial health requirements for food safety and sanitation.
