About the Role

This isn't your typical sales job.

As a Renovation Design Consultant, you'll combine your sales experience, creativity, and consultative mindset to help homeowners bring their renovation dreams to life. You'll self-generate retail leads through door-knocking, community networking, and local outreach — then lead in-home design consultations that showcase Radical Restoration's craftsmanship and value. You'll walk clients through design selections, present estimates, offer financing, and close renovation contracts — all while representing the Radical brand with professionalism and pride.

What You'll Do

  • Self-generate homeowner renovation opportunities daily.
  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners and decision-makers.
  • Present tailored design and renovation solutions across multiple trades.
  • Prepare estimates, visualize designs, and guide clients through selections.
  • Close retail renovation agreements and collect initial payments.
  • Manage all communication and documentation in JobNimbus CRM.
  • Coordinate with Production and Sales Management for project readiness.
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure satisfaction, collect reviews, and request referrals.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 3+ years of in-home or B2C consultative sales experience (required)
  • Experience in home renovation, remodeling, or construction sales (preferred)
  • Experience in door-to-door or field sales and a background in home improvement (preferred)
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads and close deals
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM and estimating tools
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $3,400/month ($40,800 annually)

  • 5% on Self-Generated Retail Sales
  • 3.5% on Company-Provided Retail Appointments
  • +1% commission boost for $200K+ in monthly sales
  • Average Monthly Earnings: $8,000–$12,000+ (based on activity & skill)

Additional Information:

  • Location: Northern Virginia Region
  • Schedule: Monday - Saturday (Flexible start times)

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is often required to walk, climb ladders, talk, and use an iPad (as assigned by Radical Restoration).
  • Other physical demands include sitting for office work and using software as required.
