Physical Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic environment, working with a diverse caseload that may include orthopedics, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, geriatrics, and general musculoskeletal conditions. This role offers the opportunity to build strong patient relationships, develop individualized treatment programs, and support patients in achieving functional independence and long-term wellness. Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and EMR documentation is essential, along with a passion for optimizing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive outpatient evaluations, including assessment of physical function, movement patterns, and patient history
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practice
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger point therapy
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery and functional improvement
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, posture, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Accurately document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries using EMR systems
• Manage patient discharges by assessing goal achievement and providing long-term maintenance or wellness recommendations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional outpatient clinical environment

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the applicable state or region
• Proven experience in an outpatient physical therapy or clinic-based setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and medical terminology
• Clinical expertise in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation; experience with sports, post-surgical, or chronic pain patients preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and patient management
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and progress individualized outpatient treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare providers
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a consistent outpatient caseload efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
