  • Designs and fabricates holding jigs and fixtures to support repeat fabrication processes using measuring devices, drawings, hand and power tools.
  • Maintains accurate records of work completed, including work orders, service requests, time, and materials, to support operational tracking and job costing.
  • Calculates quantities, measurements, materials, time, weights, and conversions necessary to complete welding tasks and support cost estimates for non-routine jobs.
  • Maintains inventory of welding supplies and materials by monitoring stock levels, ordering goods as needed, and verifying parts and supplies upon receipt.
  • Transports equipment, tools, parts, or supplies to job sites or shop locations using company vehicles, trailers, forklifts, or other equipment as required.

  • Must always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of journey-level fabrication and/or field welding experience, including heliarc (TIG), gas, and arc welding.
  • Experience welding piping systems in industrial or oil and gas environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in field settings while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Knowledge of oilfield safety requirements, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and permit-to-work processes.
