Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our new Cafe in Goffstown, NH. With a full kitchen in our second location we are expanding our breakfast and lunch offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking in a breakfast and lunch setting. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in assisting our Lead Cook and delivering an exceptional experience in our Cafe setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all meals meet quality expectations
• Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen staff as necessary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a breakfast and lunch setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality
