AM & Afternoon Experienced Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with experience in fine dining environments. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest relations, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of restaurant operations to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and sanitation to ensure a clean dining environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety protocols
• Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and guest relations
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating arrangements and managing reservations

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Experience with food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards is essential
• Background in hospitality or guest services roles such as host/host or bussing is advantageous
• Strong skills in time management, sales, upselling, basic math, and cash handling are important for success in this role
• Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial but is not required
• Prior experience working in the food industry with a focus on customer service will help ensure excellent guest interactions
