We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee medical billing, coding, and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate revenue cycle management.
- Maintain patient records and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including ICD-9 coding and DRG assignments.
- Coordinate scheduling for staff and patients, optimizing workflow to enhance patient care.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support as needed to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Handle inquiries from patients regarding billing, insurance claims, and medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication regarding patient care.
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of dental office systems.
- Experience with dental billing, coding (including ICD-9), and collections processes.
- Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using office software applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
