Responsibilities
The Surveillance Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Surveillance employees in a shiftwork environment. Strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fosters a safe and efficient work environment while maintaining an open-door policy.
- A strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
- You will maintain awareness of the gaming operation at all times, and plan, organize and direct the overall operation the shift by delegating duties, briefing/monitoring of employees, and overseeing occurrences as they develop.
- You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development.
- Your strong organizational skills will allow for balancing multiple responsibilities in operational demands and employee engagement.
- You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures.
- Lead or facilitate meetings with guidance from more senior staff to discuss audit findings and consulting services with top levels of management.
- Other duties as assigned.

- A post-secondary education or comparable working experience in related fields with strength in gaming/surveillance areas
- Supervisory experience in the related field of one (1) or more years
- Working knowledge of computer software packages

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
