We're looking for a motivated, laid back person to provide support and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We utilize a leadership model through demonstrating and coaching- The end goal being growing their skills to increase independence and control over their own lives.

General Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assisting individuals in attending/participating in community events
• Community outings
• Skills training on Activities of Daily Living
• Daily assisting with personal care needs
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to medical appointments
• Creating a positive and safe environment
• Encouraging and Leading towards Independence

Qualifications:

• Comfortability supporting client with commode use and transfers/repositioning for client who uses wheelchair
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to assist/perform basic housekeeping duties such as cooking, laundry, dishes, etc.
• Tech savvy
• Reliable transportation
• Driver's license
• Clean driving history last 5 years

Pay Range is from $20 to $26 depending on experience and training.

We provide Paid Training which includes our in-person Day One training (approximately 4 hours) followed paid trainings which is done in office between 8am and 3pm.

This position does involve intermittent driving, therefore a Current & Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance & a Reliable Vehicle are required to perform job duties & assignments.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check with current ID (such as a Passport or Social Security Card)
