Elementary Math/Enrichment Teacher – Part-Time

Overview
Yeshiva Har Torah is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Elementary Math/Enrichment Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This part-time position can be scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, with available hours of approximately 8:40 AM–12:50 PM or 11:30 AM–3:30 PM. The position entails teaching either mainstream elementary mathematics, or teaching enrichment mathematics classes. The ideal candidate will foster mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary-level math or provide enrichment instruction to small groups of students.
• Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
• Foster a student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and math exploration.
• Utilize technology, manipulatives, and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess student progress using diverse assessment tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of elementary mathematical concepts and mathematical reasoning.
• Ability to create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and collaborative practice.

Pay: $40, $42,000.00 per year
