We are seeking an experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer
to take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining our hybrid infrastructure, spanning both cloud and on-premises environments. In this hands-on role, you will manage IoT devices at scale, build tooling for deployment and monitoring, and lead key modernization projects from initial architecture through production rollout. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems, while mentoring teammates and driving best practices across the engineering organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across both cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Develop tools to improve deployment, management, and monitoring of customer-premise equipment, IoT devices, and backend systems.
• Lead system architecture and modernization initiatives from design through production operation.
• Enhance overall observability and monitoring for infrastructure and IoT devices using custom tooling and off-the-shelf solutions.
• Implement secure connectivity solutions enabling robust device-to-cloud communication.
• Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices in monitoring, system design, and infrastructure engineering.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to tightly integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments and upgrades.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience managing servers and/or IoT devices at scale.
• Software development skills for building infrastructure automation (Python required).
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services.
• Demonstrated experience managing and securing hybrid (Cloud + On-Premises) environments.
• Familiarity with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CDK, etc.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and networking fundamentals (Docker, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
• Background in monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, production-critical environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS IoT services (e.g., Greengrass v2).
• Knowledge of secure infrastructure design best practices.
• Experience managing and supporting edge devices at scale.
