Maintenance Mechanic

A hands-on industrial maintenance technician with experience in:

• Welding, pipefitting, fabrication
  

• Gearbox and bearing maintenance
  

• Pumps, piping, lubrication
  

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  

• Mechanical and precision maintenance
  

This position supports the company's food ingredients and bio-industrial business , helping develop solutions for manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice organizations focused on taste, nutrition, and safety.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance across the facility
  

• Use standard tools: hand tools, power tools, electrical tools, precision instruments, and PM technology
  

• Work across multiple trades: welding, pipefitting, fabrication, pumps, piping, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general mechanical maintenance
  

• Modify or build equipment using mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  

• Collaborate with peers and leadership to drive continuous improvement
  

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience with rigging, bearings, and lubrication
  
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices (PJHA, confined spaces, permitting, etc.)
  
• Trade school certification , degree in a maintenance-related field, or relevant military experience
  
• Experience with precision maintenance (laser alignment, dial indicators)
