Responsibilities
- Oversee all restaurant operations with consistency, organization, and adherence to Zon Zon's service and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team through effective hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and pacing in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Supervise front- and back-of-house teams during service to ensure smooth execution, guest satisfaction, and a polished atmosphere.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost controls using strong organizational and operational systems.
- Utilize Toast POS for accurate sales tracking, reporting, cash handling, and operational management.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Implement ongoing training programs focused on service excellence, wine knowledge, hospitality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, optimize labor, and drive operational efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive, memorable experience.
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage to support business volume and operational flow.
- Coordinate catering events or private dining when applicable to increase revenue opportunities.
- Foster a lively, professional, and hospitality-driven workplace culture where both guests and staff feel valued.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry; elevated dining experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of culinary operations, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience withToast POS is strongly preferred.
- Solid background in inventory control, food safety (including HACCP), and proper food handling.
- Demonstrated leadership with experience supervising teams in high-volume or refined service environments.
- Familiarity with budgeting, cost controls, and financial analysis within a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to train and develop staff in service standards, food knowledge, wine & beverage programs, and safety protocols.
- Wine knowledge or sommelier experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with catering, private dining, or event operations is beneficial.
