The Columbus Arthritis Center is one of the largest Rheumatology practices in Ohio, and we are expanding to the East side of Columbus. We are looking for a full-time Information Technology Support Specialist who will support both locations.
The ideal candidate will be dependable and customer-focused to support our busy medical practice. This role serves as the first point of contact for all internal IT issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting for computers, printers, phones, software applications, and our NextGen EHR system. The specialist triages user issues, manages support tickets with external vendors, tracks internal IT requests, and provides clear communication and updates to leadership.
This position also handles new user setup, access management, RingCentral and Mitel phone configuration, monthly security audits, patient portal support, and IT onboarding for new employees. Additional responsibilities include managing the laptop checkout system, overseeing toner ordering and recycling, coordinating equipment during workstation changes, and assisting with various technology projects across the practice.
The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative staff in a fast-paced environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset are essential. Experience with NextGen or healthcare IT is a plus. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree in IT or related field is preferred.
