Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns politely.
• Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing paperwork, and obtaining signatures when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and supporting team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and load & unload procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely during loading/unloading processes; physical strength to handle heavy lifting tasks regularly.
• Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed routes and schedules accurately.
• Valid driver certification or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if necessary.
