We are seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 4-month contract in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will provide vital support to the People & Culture Department and contribute to the smooth operation of our office during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. The target start date is January 5th, 2026. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing multiple priorities, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform front office receptionist duties while maintaining a professional and organized reception area and common spaces.
  • Assist with shipping, purchasing, and label creation tasks.
  • Prepare and process expense reimbursement reports for managers efficiently.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and take notes as required.
  • Support recruitment logistics, including interview scheduling, room setup, and catering arrangements.
  • Assist with new hire orientations and team luncheons.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of managing competing priorities effectively
