We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and success of diverse events. In this role, you will leverage your skills in hospitality and customer service to craft memorable occasions that exceed member expectations. Responsibilities

Schedules, assigns, and directs the work of all servers, runners, and set-up staff.

Attends BEO meetings.

Ensures the Banquet office BEO binder is up-to-date with updated BEO's and floor plans

Supervises catered and club events based on client specifications and the Banquet Event Order.

Coordinate interdepartmental activities necessary to successfully executes events. Housekeeping, Engineering, IT, Purchasing, Culinary and Stewarding.

Supervises and directs banquet staff during all phases of the event to ensure member and guest satisfaction.

Manages the food and beverage service for efficiency.

Administers pre-shift meeting prior to each event.

Provides opening and closing assignments to staff.

Ensures all tables and elements of decor are set-up properly and according to floor plan.

Ensures that any rental equipment is received and returned.

Promotes teamwork among the staff through leading by example.

Assists the staff in maintaining dining service standards and communicates any shortcomings.

Ensures staff is in proper uniform and well-groomed.

Remains on the floor and is visible throughout the event for any special request or need.

Protects and maintains inventory of all banquet props and equipment.Protects and maintains inventory of all alcoholic beverages.

Provides necessary food labels, menu cards, and place cards for both club and private events

Lead on-site event management by supervising setup, execution, and breakdown activities to ensure smooth operations from start to finish.

Provide exceptional guest services by addressing attendee inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently to enhance overall satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management or related roles within hospitality, hotel operations, restaurant settings, or banquet services.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.
  • Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and attendees alike.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail throughout all phases of event execution.
  • Banquet experience or familiarity with catering operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
