Senior Pricing Analyst

Our client is a legal technology company. They seek a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Uncover pricing opportunities by conducting deep dives into Business Units, including newly acquired entities, and benchmark pricing models against key industry competitors
• Collaborate with management and sales teams to deliver pricing analyses, compile relevant data, and present insights that guide commercial decisions
• Assess strategic pricing opportunities and partner with the Head of Pricing to prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and implementation complexity
• Execute pricing initiatives end-to-end by planning, coordinating, and operationalizing key actions with cross-functional stakeholders
• Review annual price books and recommend enhancements to list price structures, tiers, and pricing levels
• Promote the adoption of best-practice pricing methodologies and support knowledge sharing across business units to improve pricing capabilities
• Determine optimal product packaging and pricing for new offerings through market research and collaboration with product and marketing teams
• Direct pricing reporting processes by leading review meetings, developing dashboards with the Data team, monitoring key indicators, and summarizing findings for senior leadership
• Develop and refine SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from ERP, CRM, and financial systems to support pricing insights
• Advance Generative AI initiatives within the pricing function to streamline workflows, automate insights, and enhance pricing, discounting, and margin optimization
• Prepare board and executive leadership materials by creating clear, insight-driven pricing analyses that support strategic and commercial decision-making

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of pricing experience
• Technology/SaaS industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical and numerate skills
• Effective communication skills
• Desire to collaborate with stakeholders and individual business units
• Ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and work streams
