Barista

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos

• Take customer orders and ensure accuracy

• Operate POS system to process transactions

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

• Follow food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food items

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

• Upsell additional products or menu items to customers

• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required

• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends

• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks

• Food handling certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring
