Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and experience working with children, particularly in preschool or special education settings. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers with classroom activities, providing individualized support to students, and contributing to their overall development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote childhood development and social skills.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the needs of all students are met.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in settings such as preschool, daycare, or special education is preferred.
• Background in caregiving or nannying is a plus.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
