Job Summary:
Join our team as a Picker/Packer at our state-of-the-art distribution center in Madison, Wisconsin! We are looking for detail-oriented and energetic individuals to handle order fulfillment with speed and accuracy. In this vital role, you will be responsible for selecting items from our vast inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a crucial part in our logistics network. This position requires a good level of physical fitness, including the ability to perform frequent lifting and spend significant time on your feet. Safety is paramount in our warehouse environment; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the consistent use of required PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, utilizing RF scanners or pick sheets.
  • Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies.
  • Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
  • Label all outgoing packages with correct shipping information.
  • Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of potential hazards.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock rotation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear designated PPE at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or picker/packer experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be committed to safety and properly using PPE.
