We are hiring a Picker/Packer in our bustling Fort Worth, Texas distribution center! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked from inventory and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for identifying products, collecting them from their designated locations, and carefully packaging them for transit. This is a physically demanding position that requires individuals to be comfortable with frequent lifting, standing, and walking throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label all packages with correct shipping information.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
