We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be a vital part of our supply chain, responsible for various tasks within the distribution center, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. This position requires individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and can handle physical demands such as frequent lifting. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to wear and maintain appropriate PPE throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and precision according to customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification may be required or provided).
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
