Our Portland, Oregon location is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of our warehouse inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventories, investigating stock discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. This position requires a thorough understanding of inventory management principles and best practices in a warehouse setting. Proficiency with inventory management software is essential. The use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure safety in the warehouse environment. While this role is less physically demanding than some, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be necessary. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and data integrity. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering processes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and use of PPE.
