Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. This position requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our inventory data is reliable, which directly impacts order fulfillment and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory aging and turnover.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper flow of goods.
  • Identify and address any issues related to inventory damage or obsolescence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
