Join our team as an Order Picker in bustling Boston, Massachusetts! This critical role involves accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You'll be the first step in getting our products to their destinations, ensuring accuracy and speed. Responsibilities include navigating the warehouse using scanning equipment, identifying the correct items and quantities, and preparing them for the packing station. A strong focus on Safety is paramount, as is adherence to all company guidelines. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work at heights (if applicable to the facility), and a commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity. You'll work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Understanding the importance of Logistics and timely order processing is key. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and thorough training on our systems and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or handheld scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and accessible.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or stock levels to supervision.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and basic Logistics.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
