Join our logistics team as a Picker/Packer in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, accurately packing them into appropriate containers, and preparing them for shipment. A keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy are essential for success. This position involves working within our warehouse environment and may require moderate Lifting. Safety is a primary concern; therefore, all employees must strictly adhere to safety regulations and wear the designated PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order forms.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Select the correct packaging materials for each order.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
- Keep the packing and shipping areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE while performing duties.
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
