We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Your duties will include receiving, identifying, and accurately recording inventory items, as well as investigating and resolving discrepancies. A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory management software are essential. This position requires individuals who can perform tasks that may involve some Lifting and require standing for extended periods. Safety is a key focus, so adherence to all safety protocols and the use of required PPE are mandatory. You will play a critical role in supporting efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that our inventory data is precise, which is vital for our logistics and fulfillment processes. Responsibilities:
- Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized inventory records and databases.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of stock.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Support the logistics department with inventory-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some Lifting and prolonged standing.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
