Job Summary:
Our state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, California is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and availability of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize loss and optimize inventory management. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for efficient logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory data accuracy.
  • Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and other key metrics.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to all warehouse and PPE guidelines.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable following all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
