You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, contributing directly to the success of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and any potential damage.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials and methods.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding areas.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as required.
- Strict adherence to all safety regulations and policies is mandatory, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- This role requires significant standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to perform lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime.
