Our facility in Boise, Idaho, is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all goods entering our warehouse are processed efficiently and correctly. You will be the first point of contact for incoming logistics, verifying deliveries and preparing items for storage. Your accuracy and organization are key to our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight from various carriers.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Enter received goods into the inventory management system.
- Stage received products for put-away or further processing.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- This role involves standing, walking, and occasional bending and reaching.
- Ability to handle lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Proficiency with inventory software and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain operations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
