Are you detail-oriented and organized? Our company is looking for an Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and reconciling discrepancies. Your work directly impacts our ability to fulfill orders accurately and on time, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, verifying incoming shipments.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling materials.
- This role involves tasks that require standing for extended periods and moderate lifting.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs routinely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is advantageous.
