Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a stable opportunity? Our Sacramento, California warehouse is seeking experienced professionals to join our logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your precision and safety consciousness are vital to efficient warehouse operations and inventory management. This position requires excellent maneuvering skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely.
- Transport products to and from designated areas for storage or shipment.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow established safe lifting techniques and material handling best practices.
- Assist with inventory control and accuracy through careful placement and counting of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth logistical operations.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and safety guidelines within the facility.
- Contribute to a strong safety culture by actively participating in safety training and initiatives.
- Be prepared for physical demands, including operating machinery for extended periods and occasional lifting.
- Understand the importance of precision and efficiency in material handling for overall logistics success.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet operational targets and support customer satisfaction.
