Our Boise, Idaho facility is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse using RF scanners, selecting the correct items, and ensuring they are packed securely and efficiently. Attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our logistics department to meet daily fulfillment targets. This position requires an individual with a strong work ethic who can maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. We believe in empowering our employees and providing a supportive work environment where everyone can succeed. Training on all aspects of the job, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation, will be provided. Understanding the flow of goods within a logistics operation is an advantage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Support team efforts to achieve operational excellence in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with warehouse scanners is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team player mentality and good communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
