Join our team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Distribution Center Associate and play a key role in our efficient logistics network. We are looking for individuals who are eager to contribute to various aspects of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will encompass receiving and processing goods, accurate picking and packing of orders, and assisting with the overall organization and maintenance of the distribution center. This position demands physical capability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Pick items accurately for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging to ensure safe transit.
- Stage finished orders for shipment, ensuring they are ready for carrier pickup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution center.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and other operational tasks as directed.
- Be able to perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all assigned tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a consistent work attendance record.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and the importance of wearing PPE.
