Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel, laundry service, or similar environment with a strong commitment to maintaining quality and efficiency in laundry operations. All new hires are required to work weekends; candidates who are not available on the weekend will not be considered. Base pay is based upon experience. Earn some extra money We offer our base pay along with a Bonus program based on productivity of laundry weight completed per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including clothing, linens, towels, and uniforms. Laundry items are not limited by this list.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following proper sanitation protocols.
• Ensure that all laundry equipment is functioning properly; report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are handled and labeled with care.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries while operating machinery.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or laundry facility is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
• Ability to manage one's own time to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in cleaning processes.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
