Position Overview:

We are seeking an
OSP Design Engineer
to help design, plan, and implement fiber optic network infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge telecom design, supporting both aerial and underground installations. You'll work with a collaborative team and use state-of-the-art tools to ensure the success of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer fiber optic networks for residential, commercial, and industrial deployments.
• Create permit-ready construction drawings, including fiber counts, splice diagrams, and ROW alignment plans.
• Perform site surveys and develop network designs based on project requirements and customer specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards (NESC, NEC, OSHA, BICSI).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), including cable footage, handholes, and conduit materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in OSP design or fiber optic network engineering (Internships and relevant projects will be considered).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other design tools (MicroStation, FROGS, etc.).
• Strong understanding of telecom standards and best practices for fiber optic design.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
