EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A PATTERN PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT MPI

As a Pattern Production Technician, you'll be at the heart of the investment-casting process—creating high-quality wax patterns and assemblies that enable our customers' most advanced manufacturing needs. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role where you'll work with both manual and automated equipment, learn specialized techniques, and contribute directly to our production success.

• Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with team members across departments

• Solid basic math skills (fractions, decimals, whole numbers)

• Moderate computer proficiency

• Valid driver's license

• A methodical, problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when needed

• Commitment to quality, efficiency, and waste reduction

• Operate manual and automated wax injection and assembly equipment efficiently and safely

• Perform manual wax assembly and repair wax patterns/assemblies to meet quality standards

• Set up and change over tooling for new jobs, including adjusting or creating injection recipes

• Inspect wax patterns, identify defects, and fine-tune processes to improve performance

• Package, prepare, and ship products with accuracy and attention to detail

• Deliver production orders to customers using a company box truck

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that supports our LEAN culture

• Follow all safety, PPE, and quality control procedures

• Participate in daily LEAN meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

• Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned

• Occasional transport of finished products to customers using MPI Box Truck.
