The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, ensuring that all items meet our high standards of taste and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and bake various desserts, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Keeping the bakery clean and organized. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring all necessary items are stocked.
• Decorate and package finished products for sale, ensuring proper presentation.
• Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
• Engage enthusiastically with guests, answer any questions they may have, and conduct purchase transactions quickly and accurately.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with various baking equipment and tools.
• Must be able to work well both independently and with a team.
• Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic Math skills are required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
