Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Natural Stone Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our natural stone product offerings through proactive outside and inside sales efforts, cultivating strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Your passion for natural stone, combined with your expertise in sales and management, will help us deliver exceptional value to our customers while achieving aggressive growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow natural stone product sales within assigned territories, focusing on both existing accounts and new prospects.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to architects, contractors, designers, and retail clients to showcase the quality and versatility of our natural stone offerings.
- Manage key accounts by providing excellent customer service, understanding client needs, and offering tailored solutions that foster long-term relationships.
- Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking events, trade shows, and digital marketing initiatives to expand market reach.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Utilize Company software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, analyze market trends, and optimize territory coverage.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that increase brand awareness and drive demand for natural stone products.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance for ongoing analysis and improvement.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or business development roles within the building materials or construction industry, preferably with natural stone or related products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a territory effectively through strategic planning and proactive outreach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Experience in retail or technical sales environments is a plus, along with knowledge of marketing strategies that support sales growth.
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for upselling and expanding product adoption.
