Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing and related trades, with a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on various projects, in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality concrete surfaces and finishes. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

• Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level, and durable finishes
• Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
• Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, floating, edging, and caulking to meet project standards
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices on-site
• Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction trades such as masonry, carpentry, or restoration
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, heavy equipment operation, and blueprint reading is preferred
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working in demanding environments
• Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and protocols
• Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access may be required depending on project needs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions

Pay: $ $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
